Perry Cline Westcare Emergency Shelter

WestCare Kentucky's Emergency Homeless Shelter, located in Pikeville Kentucky, provides housing, substance abuse services and independent living skills for individuals and/or families who are at risk of becoming or are homeless. On site, residents receive assistance with cognitive skills, financial literacy, adult education, life skills, employment skills and drug treatment. The shelter staff provides individual case assessments and development of services/treatment plans to assist individuals in their transition and adjustment back in to the community. The shelter provides lodging, meals, individual counseling, group counseling, substance abuse counseling, life skills, parenting skills, money management, employment readiness and development, literacy, case management, transition to independent living and aftercare services. The maximum length of stay is 90 days; however, an extension may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
