The monetary gifts from the 2024 Mountain Grrl Experience are being used to help support our Mission and the development of Oasis Farms, to help provide employment and housing to moms leaving abuse, growing nutritious food in EKY food deserts.

Donation buckets and QR codes will be available throughout town on the day of the event. You can also easily donate online right here, right now! Thank you!

Where will the events be held?

The Live Music Main Stage (Mountain Top Media Stage) is located adjacent to the Appalachian Wireless Arena, at 126 Main Street, Pikeville, KY 41501. Seating is available at this stage.

Most workshops and other live music performances will take place at the Rose Stage, in the Pikeville City Park, located at 101 Cumberland Ct, Pikeville, KY 41501. You may want to bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on in the park.

The Art Exhibit will be at the Appalachian Center for the Arts (aka The APP), located at 218 2nd St, Pikeville, KY 41501.

Some other workshops will be scattered around time at local businesses. Please refer to the schedule for further information!

Where can I park?

Free parking is available around town, but your best and easiest best is the City Parking Garage, located right across the Park and the Rose Stage area. This link may help! https://pikevilleky.gov/parking/

What if we get hungry?

There are a number of great restaurants in the area. Food Trucks will be on site providing a variety of foods and beverages. Our local downtown restaurants will also be providing food and drink specials throughout the weekend. These are all within walking distance of the event. Be sure to visit Faith Life Market (food specials and workshops!), Joyce’s Place will have food and drink specials, The Bear’s Den Nutrition will have a special shake and tea created especially for Mountain Grrl Experience festival goers, and Bank 253 has fabulous food and a Mountain Grrl Drink special!

Can we come and go as we please?

Absolutely! Admission is free, so you can come to the event, go explore and eat out and shop in Pikeville whenever the spirit moves you.

What about the weather?

Mountain Grrl and the City of Pikeville have many things put in place to make sure you stay COOL this weekend!

1. THREE cooling stations will be available throughout town.

2. Covered seating at the Mountain Top Media stage area.

3. Many shady, covered areas in the City Park and Gazebo stage area.

4. Pike County Health Department Mama Van available for breastfeeding and baby changing.

5. Multiple places throughout town to step in and cool off including: Appalachian Wireless Arena and The Appalachian Center for the Arts Art Exhibition (where public bathrooms are located), Historic Garfield House (workshops on Saturday), Pikeville Pikeville City Tourism and Pike County Tourism Office (get your Holler Critter Cards!), Local businesses and restaurants in town.
