The First Annual Mountain Grrl Experience is an exciting art and music event with intent to feature and promote the creativity of women in Appalachia in a safe and supportive environment. For one day and evening, The Appalachian Center for the Arts will be our home and gathering place where ALL are welcome.
Proceeds from this day of musical performances, art displays, workshops and educational programs will benefit the Westcare Perry Cline Emergency Shelter, with emphasis on female victims of domestic violence or substance abuse, as well as educational art programs at the Appalachian Center for the Arts.
Please consider bringing items to donate to the Westcare Perry Cline Emergency Shelter. If you use it in your home, they can use it in theirs. Not sure what to donate? Here are some ideas!
